Moriah the ski dog
Moriah proved that she has some endurance on this day.  I never had to wait long for her to appear behind
me on the descents and she led the way on the climbs back out, stopping to wait for me on occasion.
Hard to believe that just two years ago she was sitting in the dog pound waiting for an uncertain fate.
This ridge was lined with haunting trees who
seemed to be deceased before their time.
Blue sky gaps on top of this ridge were gone
before the bottom. was reached.
Moriah and I both hit our high speed of the
day on this slope.
One more glimpse of blue sky on our way out
and Moriah being quite smart stopped in the
shade to wait for me.
